Explore and Restore retreat

Santa Fe Fall Retreat

October 16-20, 2024, Santa Fe, New Mexico

You’re invited to join Monique Forcier and Amy Fogarty for a rejuvenating and soul nourishing Fall retreat in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Savor the crisp mountain air at a historic home nestled in nature — with time and space dedicated to enjoy hiking, grounding yoga, meditation, journaling, delicious local food, a Japanese inspired spa, and meaningful connection.

This retreat is designed to support mind-body balance and connection. Each day will begin with a light breakfast, centering meditation, and a guided hike to explore the trails that wind through the Santa Fe Wilderness. We’ll enjoy a nourishing lunch at a local restaurant or at the house and create intentional space in the afternoon for restorative practices (such as yoga, workshops, and a trip to the spa one afternoon). There will also be free time to relax or to explore the culture and artistic spirit of the historic downtown district. In the evening we’ll go to a local restaurant and then we’ll have quiet time to unwind before bed. This retreat is designed so that you can make it your own—you can participate in group activities and/or enjoy as much quiet solo time as you need.

This will be an intimate retreat experience with participants staying in a 3 bed and 2 bath home. Please be aware there is a flight of stairs leading to the home and two of the bedrooms are on the second floor of the home. Each bedroom has a queen bed, so you can come solo or bring a friend/partner and share a room. This retreat will be limited to 3 bookings (and a maximum of 5 guests). Monique and Amy will also stay onsite in a separate casita.

This retreat is open to everyone.

Our Retreat Includes:

  • Lodging for 4 nights in a historic adobe 3 bed and 2 bath home.

  • Daily light breakfasts - which will be customized based on the needs of our group and will be enjoyed in the home.

  • Light snacks.

  • A trip to Ten Thousand Waves (a Japanese inspired spa) with a private 90 minute bath experience booked for our group. *Guests will also have the option to add a massage or spa treatment prior to our private bath experience.

  • Daily guided hikes (3-5 miles per day), meditation, and gentle yoga practices

  • Transportation in and around Santa Fe during the retreat.

    Please note, guests of this retreat will be responsible for the cost of the following:

    • Flights to/from Albuquerque or Santa Fe.

    • For those flying into Albuquerque —transportation to/from Santa Fe (via shuttle or car rental).

    • Lunches and dinners —we will go to local restaurants and would be happy to connect if you have questions or want to learn more about the restaurants we’re planning to visit. We want our group to enjoy whatever food/beverages they would like throughout the retreat experience.

    • The purchase of massages or spa treatments

$3333 - double occupancy private room with queen bed (shared bath) - you can invite a guest to join you and share the experience.

There is a non-refundable $1000 deposit to secure your room. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the retreat.

 
 
 

Monique Forcier

A Spiritual Coach, 220 Hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Intuitive Energy Healer, and Certified Sound Healer.

I love offering classes to groups to lift the consciousness and facilitate experiences that help people to do the deeper, more meaningful work. I am a calm extrovert who truly gets filled up and inspired by being around other fabulous souls. I am excited for the future and what is yet to come. I have a deep knowing that connection is the way we will all grow and evolve this planet. Our influences and love is the only way.

Amy Fogarty

I’m a lifelong learner, trauma-informed yoga instructor, yoga therapist, ayurvedic yoga specialist, and registered nurse.

My work centers around supporting people to be well and to live an embodied life aligned with their inner wisdom and truth. I came to exploring this work through my own journey of healing — which has been a process of learning, unlearning, and reconnecting to myself.I work and share from the perspective that we are all on our own unique journey and that I am a fellow traveler walking the path too.

The Art of Journaling

Do you want to learn more about journaling but are unsure where to start? Maybe you have heard of creative journaling and it peaked your curiosity? it Perhaps you are a writer and want to journal to deepen your craft. In this in-person and online class, we will talk about your goals around journaling and take time to do some guided journaling. We will create a journaling ritual that feels authentic to you.

Affirmation Building Class

Did you know that your mind affects your actions far more than any other physical part of your body? It has the power to help you realize your dreams if you let yourself do it. An affirmation is a short, powerful statement that allows you to consciously be in control of your thoughts. An affirmation is carefully constructed to have the most impact. When we say or think them, they become the thoughts that share your reality. In this in person pr online class, we will take a step by step process to creating your own personalized affirmation.

Mindful Goal Setting Class

Everyone has something that they want to achieve. These goals can apply to any part of their lives and can range from simple to complex. Goals shape a person and guide them through different aspects of their life throughout their lifetime. This in person or online class will explore goal setting for each individual and the different areas of their life where the goals can be applied. The class will look at the 4 different areas of their goals and create a week by week and month by month plan to achieving these goals.

Meditation is for Everyone CLASS

Meditation is a grounding practice which helps you to know yourself better, appreciate yourself and others more, and allows you to get a more relaxed and sound sleep. Science has proven that regular meditation can have powerful long-lasting effects. Meditation helps to activate our rest-and-digest system and begin the process of ushering our body back to a more natural and calm state. Our body begins to heal and grows stronger and more resilient.

Through mediation you begin to notice your body and mind more easily let go of daily stressors and challenges. You feel calmer. You can focus more clearly. You can be more creative. You feel more balanced and comfortable in your skin. This in person and online class will offer you guided mediations that you can use to quiet your mind and usher your body to a more natural state.
